A little history …

We’re located in Molalla, Oregon in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains.

Our farm is a century old now, being built in 1917 although the barn & outbuildings were built in the 1890’s. It used to be a draft horse stud farm and a stage stop on an old wagon road from Oregon City to Silverton. Our family bought the homestead in 1937 and added on to the house, making it a 2 story, 4 bedroom home with an indoor bathroom !!

It became Hollow Hills Ranch back in the 1980’s when it was inherited by Connie. Back then it was predominantly Suffolk and North Country sheep but in 2000 some of our first hair sheep started coming in. We began with St Croix and eventually added Katahdin and some crossbreds to the flock. The last wool-cross sheep left the ranch in 2009 and we are now completely wool free!

Sheep, cattle & horses have always been raised here; as have chickens, hogs, and other animals from time to time. We still have horses, a couple chickens, llamas, and sheep. Soon we will be adding meat rabbits, geese, ducks, chickens, and a greenhouse to the ranch both for added income and to turn it back into a homestead.
